Program Details

The 300 Hours Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training Course includes the Intermediate Series and is offered by a team of experienced teachers.

This comprehensive course schedule includes Asanas, Asanas Methodology (Adjustments and Theory), Pranayama and Meditation techniques.

Mysore Style is practiced on Saturdays, where students get a chance to improve their practice without the teacher leading them, however, the teacher will be present to adjust the postures, if necessary. It is an intense experience that helps to develop a firm foundation of inner discipline.

Course Curriculum
Asana

Yogic postures comprise three and half hours of the daily schedule

  • 1st week -Morning asana classes focus on Ashtanga Vinyasa Primary series & evening classes focus on Gentle and Advance Hatha Yoga Postures
  • 2nd week -Morning asana classes focus on Ashtanga Vinyasa Primary series & evening classes focus on Yogic management of common disease like back pain, high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, headache and migraine, arthritis, Shoulder & neck pain.
  • 3rd & 4th week -Morning asana classes focus on Ashtanga Vinyasa Primary series & evening classes focus Ashtanga Vinyasa Intermediate series

The Pranayama classes cover various techniques like Kapalbhati, Bhastrika, Ujjayi Breathing, Nadi shodna/Anulom viloma, Shithali, Shithkari and Brahmari.

Yoga Anatomy:

Students will learn anatomy and physiology relevant to yoga to strengthen their classroom explanations, cues, and corrections of asana.

Students will also learn the importance of anatomy while sequencing the class.

Eligibility
    • Those applicants who have already done a 200-hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training Course or equivalent from any school, any style.
    • Should be a practitioner of yoga for minimum 2 years, 4 times in a week

REEJO – LEAD TRAINER

Reejo got his yoga certification at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta centre in Neyyar Dam, Kerala and his Ashtanga Vinyasa certification at the Ashtanga Vinyasa from Yogadarshanam Mysore from Acharya Santhosh. He aims to focus on health aspects of his students and move towards the spiritual aspects of the yoga practice, important to preserve the values and essence of classical hatha yoga practice without distortion from its purpose and incorporate in every session. He also wants to focus on health aspects of his students and move towards the spiritual aspects of the yoga practice, making it a point to preserve the values and essence of classical hatha yoga practice without distortion from its purpose and incorporate in every session. Reejo is an E-RYT 200 Yoga Instructor and is certified by the Yoga Alliance USA.

NEERAJ KUMAR   – TEACHER

Neeraj Kumar has a post graduate diploma in Yogic Science from Shree Jay Ram Ashram in Rishikesh. He has been practicing yoga and meditation for more than 15 years, and his interest lies in following the spiritual path and knowing his real self. He traveled across major places in India teaching Yoga and meditation. He has mastered the art of Hatha Yoga, Pranayama, Thai Yoga and Therapeutic yoga and has been a part of the that Yoga school team for 4 years.

Accommodation

Yoga Vimoksha offers air-conditioned deluxe rooms at their associate property with attached bath and television, just near the beautiful beach of Sernabatim in Goa. The rooms are single occupancy or twin sharing occupancy accommodation which is subject to availability.

Yoga Vimoksha also offers camping option. However, it is not available during the raining season.
